Molly’s path to becoming a therapist was shaped by some of the most profound and challenging experiences of her own life. After navigating pregnancy loss, postpartum hurdles, deep grief, and the realities of caregiving through difficult seasons, she found herself driven to understand how people heal and discover the resilience to keep going when life takes an unexpected turn.
Having personally sat in uncertainty and carried invisible grief, Molly deeply understands the heavy burden of overwhelming circumstances. Her lived experiences solidified her belief that no one should have to navigate life's darkest seasons alone, inspiring her to turn her personal pain into a meaningful professional purpose.
Specializing in Perinatal Support, Pregnancy Loss, and Postpartum Therapy
Molly specializes in areas of mental health that are both professionally trained and deeply personal to her: pregnancy and infant loss, postpartum and maternal mental health, anxiety, and relationship challenges. She recognizes that these specific struggles can be incredibly isolating; from the outside, a person may appear completely fine while quietly carrying immense grief, fear, guilt, or disappointment.
Molly provides a space where clients do not have to spend energy explaining why they are hurting to someone who doesn't understand. While every client’s story is entirely unique, Molly blends advanced professional clinical training with a genuine, lived understanding of how complicated these reproductive and maternal transitions can be.
Her Counseling Style: Relatable, Compassionate, and Authentically Honest
Clients describe Molly as warm, relatable, honest, and deeply compassionate. She purposefully creates a therapeutic environment where you can take a deep breath, drop the mask, and stop pretending you have it all together.
Molly shows up to every session as a real human being. She laughs with her clients, holds space for their heaviest emotions, and genuinely invests in their well-being. However, she isn't afraid to challenge patterns that keep people stuck. If she notices a client treating themselves with a harshness they would never show to a loved one, she gently brings it to light. Her ultimate goal is for clients to feel entirely supported, productively challenged, and never judged as they realize they are human rather than "broken."
Rooted in the Metro Detroit Community
Born and raised in the Metro Detroit area, Molly remains deeply connected to her local roots. Growing up in a close-knit Jewish community taught her the profound value of family, resilience, showing up for others, and mining for meaning during difficult times.
This background also instilled in her a foundational truth: every family, community, and culture comes with its own unique set of strengths and systemic challenges. Because of this, Molly rejects one-size-fits-all assumptions, prioritizing the unique cultural and personal context of each client's life to guide her therapeutic approach.
Beyond the Therapy Office
These days, the majority of Molly's free time is happily spent being a mom, navigating the beautifully busy season of school drop-offs, snack prep, bedtime routines, and keeping up with two active kids.
When she catches a quiet moment for herself, Molly loves reading, crafting, cooking, and staying actively involved in her local community. She finds her joy in ordinary, simple snapshots—a quiet cup of coffee, an engaging book, a family dinner where everyone eats, or a soul-filling conversation with friends that reminds her of how connected we all truly are.
